The colors you used for the background are good, (except Marcello's right, the sun would be lighter, almost white) and I think the form would be better if the lines weren't so stark and straight where the color transition happens in the sunset, blended together, and not such a straight formation. Umm. but for 8 minutes, dang, I can't even sit my coffee in the right place and get comfortable in 8 minutes! :D touch up the sun a bit and did the face ...ran out of time ,will work on it later.

I like the way you did the segmentation, it's interesting. The main thing I see that disturbs me is that their eyes are too far apart, mainly the redhead's right eye is too far out, should be closer to the nose. That's something you could work on next time, but overall it's a really cool drawing.

I'm in a pseudo-mean mood, I don't know why. Usually I just comment only on the ones I really like or ones I feel have been neglected so I only have good things to say, but today I'm doing anything that makes me have a reaction one way or another! So the bad: The segmentation is a cop-out. The good: There was no reason to cop-out of a picture of this quality. Even if isn't as true to life as you wanted it, I can see that it was a nice overall picturel one that I would spend some time with. As it stands, it is absolutley obvious that you were frustrated and messed with it, which I can understand. But I hope you understand it made a good picture worse. But, you're good. I'm a fan. Just stick it out or leave it unfinished for all eternity. |
