Love it! I like how you kept the background to a minimum, with all the focus on the beetle - which, by the way, is rendered very convincingly metallic.

Well this was supposed to be a speedpaint but at 1.5 hrs it has completely run away from me. I don't even have a background yet! *dies*

I might as well come out with this right off - the red awning. D'oh! I was going for the expensive hotel/valet thing and yeah, it totally didn't work. My bad! But hey, it's my first perspective piece, lol. I could have worked on this a lot longer but I'm not sure it would have helped, better to take what I learned into my next drawing. Thanks for viewing!

:D Now just who was it who, only a few months back, was complaining about perspectives? Look at you now! The buildings are a little chunky, but their perspectives are right (which is the most important thing); with practice, you'll start experimenting with different architectural design. I'm proud of you.

And for paintings like these, you don't really need a background, you know. ;)
