Well my grandma made a sockbunny for my younger cousin when she was born. It's made out of a sock and is stuffed and sewn. Just like you'd have a rag doll or teddy bear. It's just a bunny made out of a sock lol. Hope that helps Poppa :)

It was summertime about 11 years ago.. Us kids had always had the chore of taking turns feeding Two Bits, our Irish Setter we had grown up with since the day we came home from the hospital. My dad had told me to go feed the dog and make sure she had water right before me and my sister were going to go get ready to go swimming. I didn't think it would hurt to wait a little bit, til we were ready, to go out and feed her. As we were getting ready we heard Dad's voice yelling down the hall. He was yelling at me for not checking on her and kept yelling Two Bits is dead. We all ran out the door and I walked up to her laying on the ground not breathing with her leash tangled around a stack of wood we had piled up beside her dog house. I said maybe she's not dead maybe we could wake her back up maybe it just happened we have to try. Mom and Dad both said it was too late, she couldn't reach her water that was by her doggy house.. she died of heat stroke. I took her leash off her collar and sat down with her while the others went in the house. Cradling her. I kept begging her to wake up and take a drink of water so she would be ok, but she never answered. All I could do was hold her. Everytime a fly landed on her I swatted it away and told them to get off her. That was the longest I have ever cried. I blame myself even to this day.. if I had just gone out 10 minutes before.. maybe I could have saved her.

Great lookin face on this guy D. The eyes and expression are really effective. The finger looks a bit odd though, like its got a really short knuckle, and then a really long section?

He looks like he might rob a convenience store or jewelry store at some point.. hmm.. *steps away slowly*kiddin lol He's well drawn of course (since youuuu drew it) I agree about the finger looking a bit off but then again it could be the angle. Like if his finger was bent facing you you wouldn't see the entire length of the first section cause that section is facing you, the others are sideways so you see more of them.. so that might be why. |
