Thanks ya'll. I always see this on the internet or I get it in an email , so I decided to try it.I wanted to put clown in the back ,but the lighter the colors the less effect you see.

This took me ages! Lol, it's my first attempt at realism...well, semi-realism. I'm pretty proud of it.I finally reckon it's done! I adjusted his left shoulder a little too. Mum reckoned he looked like he'd had his arm amputated in battle.
DMV (May 8, 2004)
I think it's good for a first attempt:) since I don't do realism ,I can't really give any suggestions.sorry:(
tivatdoar (May 11, 2004)

Roo's big bounce. This is more what I was looking to do with Roo.This is more what I was trying to do with Roo. Icats: I'll see what I can do with Tigger and Roo. I love the close relationship they have (in the Disney version anyway) and want to do it right.

DMV

pinball wizard?
LovelyLori (May 9, 2004)
really really really good job DMV!!!! interesting use of all the shapes and that ball wins first prize!
davincipoppalag (May 9, 2004)
Some pure white..blue and black highlights make that Chrome look thing...
marcello (May 10, 2004)
the only problem is it doesn't look like a pinball at all... In fact, it looks much more like a bumper in a pinball game than the ball itself. (Which surprises me that everyone thinks it's perfect....)Try looking at something chrome. It will basically never be grey. example As for getting perfect shapes, lascaux does have an ellipse tool, or you can just use a really large brush and click once, as it looks like he did here...
DMV (May 10, 2004)
Thanks Marcello for the reference pic .besides the obvious( not looking chrome ) I also have to add the reflection of the surface its on, to the chrome ball. |
