I thought this idea Axil had was pretty cool, and it's been interesting to watch the results so far, but this was the first reference that inspired me to participate.

The man looked like he was moving closer to the girl, and the girl's expression changed. Looks pretty good though.

Yeah, in the reference it looked to me like she thought he was equivalent to something on the bottom of her shoe, so I changed her expression.

ive been wondering how you become a mod for the last two weeks...I've also been wanteing to be a mod for the last 2 weeks also...So i was just wonder HOW YOU BECOME A MOD???Does it mater if you know a mod or like a creatore of the site, or your age, how good? you are at drawing?

yeah totally great job...you got the mood down for sure. the only small thing i would hve added would be some bolder scratchy like marks on the pane of glass in front of the couple so they look more behind it. but woo for her hair

Someone find a ref on the net, post the link, the participants agree on which one, and everyone (well, whomever feels like it) does their version of it. I think it would be interesting/fun to see how all the different styles come out. No right or wrong, no good or bad, just see how everyone else sees. Maybe put "group ref" in the title or some such identifier.

/edit: Well, sorry about the misspelling about the name. Heck, I tried finding something on its spelling online and all came up with was with what I had up there. Thank you for the information about the spelling, I didn't REALLY want to look like a fool lol ;.P

Gosh, before you do anything else to the picture, can you edit the TITLE? C'mon. Spell his name properly. I know the picture looks nice and it obviously is him but, you know, it's a show that a lot of people talk about in the anime world (mainly popular with younger teens). Just don't be lazy in typing. But this is a good start. He looks really fierce--like he's ready to unleash his demon side. I'd like to see this colored.

[edit] And sorry if I got picky about the title. I like this show though and his name has a special meaning to it--misspelling it is a bit of an insult. [/edit]

Yes..anime is hard to do right ( I tried) I don't like much of what we see, but there are some really good anime artists here. The lines are pixelly, so definately use the antialias setting and smooth them out on the next one. You did well.!

What are your inspirations for your art?

What is it that inspires or motivates you to make art? Do you want to be like a certain artist you've seen or are you trying to express something you feel or enjoy? Personally I can't remember far back enough to a time when I wasn't making art. I've always just enjoyed making it and coming up with fantasy places and people I could make "real" enough to be seen by other people at least. Probably why I've never been as interested in drawing from life as from my imagination.

Stemming from a story of mine, this is my char. Janissa, least when she was younger at least. You almost want to feel sorry for her with all the crap she went through at such a young age. This includes watching her own parents die in an accident to coming into the home of a pervert and his wife where her limit was pushed above and beyond what a 15 year old girl should endure. Hence she's one of my most notorious villians afterwards.

Uhh... I felt like drawing fantasy stuff that contained guys and elves. lol After looking at this for so long, I realised that I should have changed the eyes back to blue. The yellow is beginning to freak me out. Don't ya think? Then I figured, what the heck.

the yellow eyes makes me think of weird stuff... something like bats or hyenas or cats or whatever creature that have eyes taht glow in the dark... something dangerous about it. That's why I stuck with blue. makes him more human. lol But thanks!

Y'know, I was staring at this, pondering white hair and white eyebrows and non-white stubble, when I realized it does indeed look like Tom. So congrats to you, because I hadn't bothered to read any of your descriptions before I realized that. -__- One of the hardest things in the world to do is to make a drawing actually look like who it's supposed to, and you managed it. PS: I really like all those leaves.

iQu� bueno! that dragon is awesome. This makes me think of a scene in Shrek where Shrek and Donkey go to rescue the princess and they meet up with the dragon and they try to run from it. Pretty cool.
