This is great. It's nice that you attempted on making an art that's just a throw in lines and colors and shapes together just to see how it would turn out. Experimenting is good ya know. I'm not sure what to call this but I don't think I'd call it picasso's style since he came up with cubism and abstract surrealism and stuff. It's probably just a combination of styles that may need more depth with the lines and balance with color. And squiggle art isn't unoriginal, it's more like a practice that leads to other styles of art. Oh and Eminem looks pretty good though too. This is almost like listening to his music, how everything seems random.

There's no mistake that it's Jesse McCartney from the moment I saw the thumbnail. I mean, seriously, that's GOT to be HIM. 'Beautiful Soul' started playing in my head instantly. This is great. I'm not like 'ga-ga' over him like some other girls are just 'cause he's blonde, and cute and typically a young singing sensation heartthrob (like back in those Leo DiCaprio days lmao). Looks just like him. For those people who've never heard of him, if you're interested: he's on this tv show called 'Summertime', in which I haven't watched in a long time now lol, and his hit single's called 'Beautiful Soul'--you probably have heard it on some music award shows or even in radios. :) This is a great picture.

I like this. When I first saw it I missed the face in the sky. But, after reading the comment, it makes alot more sense and I love the face of the sun-air. The only thing is they both look male to me. Is the water supposed to be female?

Heh, Harlie (the nick is minty_hippo) drew me, so I drew her. She is saying : "Wow! Im in manga style!" Because she loves to draw anime/manga stuff ^^

I don't know about you, but to me, the blush above her (invisible nose) mouth is a little too thick and dark (or a little too red). Her blushing is a little exaggerated. But then again, everything in anime is exaggerated (unless if it's a comedy show!). Other than that, the shading for her clothes and skin are OK. I thought the background was colored a lot better than the rest.

Looks good. The only thing that I'd complain about is the lips. I don't really like how thick it is. Nice background effect though.

yes, it does look really good even without a reference. I like the teeth too and the dark blueness of the eyes. Good job. This looks like those 'silent' monsters from Buffy this looks less scary.

The teeth are wonderful...haha I have an obsession with teeth in my sculptural work. Has a real atmosphere to it...with the breath coming out into the darkness.
