firecracker
(May 30, 2009)
This is from the movie "Daredevil"..... I never saw the movie.....but I liked the "ref" pic....so I wanted to try to draw it. I did use some textures.....but I didn't "overuse" them.....just a little texture on the buildings. I guess I'm posting this as "Finished"....I was gonna add some "rain" to this "pic".....but I'm afraid of "messing" it up...."lol". So....I'm finished with it for now....I can always add stuff later if I feel like it. |

Good start. You should stretch the face vertically; John has a longer face.

I'm a John Lennon "fan".....and I definitely agree with "Rohcky"......you should stretch the face a little bit.....John does have a longer face.....but it's really a great looking draw.....it definitely looks like him.:)

Thanks for the advise, this is my second time doing a realistic style drawing...so still learning. I moved the eye, I think that may have been why his face seemed fatter. Could be wrong though!

I like those fusions and blends of blues and pinks. The bottom and middle left look like rolling clouds.

Very pretty colors.....I like it. :) |
