In the morning when I wake up and listen to the sound
Of the birds outside on the roof
I try to ignore what the paper says

The Red River stills flows through my home town

An aeroplane leaves a trail in an empty blue sky
And the young birds call out to be fed

It's very beautiful...
I feel like I get more detail from it looking at it in the thumbnail...isn't that weird..

Wonderful job of capturing, not just her expression, but a sense of personality. There's such a twinkly spark in her left eye and world weary wisdom in her right. I love her old lady skin. You did good.

Oh I'm so glad I spotted this! I almost missed it =O it was tucked into the corner and I didn't see it at first! This is such a beautiful drawing enjoy!! I LOVE the colors! She has the most sweetest face! Just wanna hug her!!

Thanks for the sweet comments. It isn't really finished, but at times, it wouldn't let me upload the revision I had just worked on. Several hour down the drain.

I've had similar dreams when my nob just falls off, once i dreamt it fell off and a saint bernard dog grabbed it and ambled off with it chewing and knawing at it like it was a nice juicy bone.I had a dream the other day that i was travelling across the world buying rare balloons...and there was a blue balloon from peru that i just had to have.

or

This makes me think of the movie "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre".......it was a pretty horrific movie.
