I had your gooseberry up as my screensaver, but I think I'll switch to this. Love the colors.

davincipoppalag (Sep 2, 2004)
This is the genius smurf. Look at the size of that cranial cavity!
Aubrey (Sep 2, 2004)
This is cool D.. the pose reminds me of an egyptian. Maybe that's how they made the pyramids and Sphinx, they had alien help lol.
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
I love the background. Thought my monitor was playing tricks on me as I was scrolling.

This is nice two-na.
Those textures kick.
Aubrey (Sep 2, 2004)
Yeah I see Poppa's description more than I see a squid. Either way it's a neat design.
marcello (Sep 2, 2004)
I see someone being hit by something moving rather quickly
Aubrey (Sep 3, 2004)

Rocks under water.

I spent alot of time experimenting with the water in this one...playing around with it... so the actual production time for what you see is less than duration shown on the clock. This is the first picture for me to post since back from vacation, and while I was gone to the beach I had such a strong urge to draw that I drove into town and bought a sketch pad and pencils (I forgot my pastels) and sketched the buildings, ships, jetties, and all that I could see from the deck of the beach house. I had kind of forgotten how much fun it was just to really draw on paper.

this is great. slightly different to your other pieces, but this is awesome. I like the colours in this and the tiger stripe effect you've used. good one
Lauren_Garcia (edited Sep 1, 2004)
this is beautiful. reminds me of soemthing i saw at an at college hanging up on the wall. i think the main focus here, besides teh ey is the awesome lighting. and also the lines make such great texture. i personally think that the lines add to this. its what makes it.:)

-and i just noticed that fi you zoom in or zoom out at different percentages, the lines almost look like a tv screans, moving all over phycotically. did you do this on purpose? how awesome is that...
DMV (Sep 1, 2004)
Thanks Brainspiller and lauren:) I wanted to add texture to this, so I added this effect on a second layer:)
Aubrey (Sep 2, 2004)
That's great. You're great. So different but so garsh darn colorful.

All I remember is they catch nightmares so you're free to dream. ^__^
marcello (Aug 31, 2004)
I must have an implicit dream catcher then.
ObeseityKills (Aug 31, 2004)
wow this is really neat, its like looking into your dream catcher and seeing the bad dreams that it caught. but then i guess that was the whole concept o_o. lol anyways, this picture is great.
mooseflower (Aug 31, 2004)
I made a dream catcher in daycamp once. I was six though, so yours is infinately better. :)

This is me, and a microwave...I like those microwaveable hashbrowns.....except, they dont taste as good as when you microwave them. I even included the popcorn button...its the one in the top row to the right.

Orkdoop (Aug 31, 2004)
when you use the popcorn button, you have to know how heavy the popcorn in..then enter that in..then..then it just does it....but sometimes I think its not poped enough, so I add more time...and I Burn it..EVERYTIME....trust the popcorn button....
davincipoppalag (Sep 1, 2004)
I often wonder what would happen if you pushed the potato button when you make popcorn, or the popcorn button when you cook a potato...hmmm
marcello (Sep 1, 2004)
I don't even have a microwave, so hah!
jayceepearl (Sep 3, 2004)
Wow Jess! This is really nice. You're so pretty. And Davinci...yes there is ONE person in the family that CANNOT draw! Me!

Pink Floyd always sounds nice. THis is a riot (and very well drawn, as usual) This reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode "The Eye of the Beholder" where everyone was grotesque looking and the pretty girl was so upset she couldn't look like everyone else.
quintessence (Aug 30, 2004)
Hey, I've actually seen that. >> In my seventh grade English class.

Anyway, this is spiffy, of course and as usual. Love their clothes- the stripey yellow shirt and the red overalls.
Tuukke (Aug 31, 2004)
haaaa, great! what to say... i think great is enough. ^^
Aubrey (Aug 31, 2004)
That's too cool Zep! And I agree, Pink Floyd always sounds nice. This is so funny and by the way, you look nice today. Such a snazzy grey suit :)
