Teapot
(Oct 17, 2011)
I'd like to know why so many drawing sites favor landscape over portrait orientation for the canvas. If I want to draw a standing figure it has to be so tiny. I never get to put in the sexy footwear. Maybe I'll draw a figure from the shoulders down so I can do the feet. |

Our dear british boy had a birthday last week.. congratulations!I posted it here, cause I thought it would be nice if we used this board again, if not for contests, then at least for themed stuff.. So.. you're all invited to make birthday cards! :D
shults (Oct 4, 2011)
;) Not quite, Teapot..I feel the same about 2draw lately, and you're partly to blame..
Flubbles (Oct 4, 2011)
All it takes is few people to come back and inspire the rest of us to follow.
Teapot (Oct 6, 2011)
oh yeah. duh. Did you ever think you might be one of those people?
firecracker (Oct 15, 2011)

A bit 'o spam for the very, very idle contest board.

nice

Asian erotica; they have tons of it, ya know, from way back in history, both Japanese and (Indian,India)and Chinese,I believe. Every single nation probably has "erotic art,"or,they should have. Very nice
Teapot (Apr 1, 2011)
Yes, DBE, I took a course in the History of Erotic Art at the University of Washington many years ago. It was fascinating. The Japanese art always made the class laugh because the male genitalia was greatly exaggerated. They were always tangled up in their kimonos, though, never nude. This is more an outcome of my having started doing life drawing again.
Suntan (Apr 1, 2011)
oh, wonderful. I love erotic art...which I see this is not intended to be, but just the same...it seems within that vein. More, please. |

you are right Miss DJ, it could use more work, I just got tired
Miss_DJ (Mar 20, 2011)
Understandably! There's a lot going on here. You're brave to even try..I wouldn't have. :o)
pawillie (Mar 20, 2011)
thanks Miss DJ, there is still more work to do on it, I have been doing fabric painting on micro fiber and then making them into hand bags and selling them but ran out of supplies and am waiting for new supplies to arrive so am back to drawing on line
dorothyblueeyes (Mar 20, 2011)
Hi, it's beautiful. I thought you,and others here, since we're all artists, would like this movie link to youtube's "El Greco", in English, a Spanish-Greek production. The famous El Greco, who painted in Spain; this is a very beautiful movie, really gorgeous. (NOt sure if this is appropriate, but thought you might enjoy it,and the cinematography is beautiful.)Wow, you are painting fabric, and selling the bags you make? That's great. How the heck do you do it?You could give us all a lesson on how to apply art to making some money, I'd love to hear about it. Really selling art work is a great accomplishment. Did you talk about it, on the forum? Thanks, Pawillie, I think your work is great. |

I am supprised that anyone likes it but thanks. I did it because apparently no one is running the contest anymore
backmagicwoman (Mar 1, 2011)
I like it cause it reminds me of this thing we used to play with as kids...cant remember the name of it..but it was these plastic circles and u stuck your pen into it and swirled it around and it made all these neat designs. |

Yes,the Moody Blues are touring concerts( again)and their poster just has to look "60's" and BLUE. I'm experimenting with all the "mosaics" and stuff,to see what 60's and romantic lush Moody mood
davincipoppalag (Jan 28, 2011)
I want tickets!"Moody Blues Concert Poster"after I made this,I saw they were actually IN EUGENE!!I'm psychic.
TRY ZOOMING OUT, TO SEE THIS; I WANTED THE POSTER TO BE SEEN SMALLER,NOT SO BIG. I've seen them on the walls of some joint in the Haight Ashbury, years ago, even just glued up, like wallpaper. |

This is the first time I've used the lettering, so it's too close to the edge, darn. And I just learned how to use it, right on this poster.First time I have used computer, to do a poster(did it the old fashioned way, long ago, for newspaper ad,lettering, ect.) Yow, it's different, no paste up.It looks very unprofessional, bad margins, awkward, but it takes practice to do it this way. Oops, I forgot the number to call? for exact time?oh,you just call suicide hotline, yeah. should have put exact time on, most of the time, on poster,or number to call for it. It was not what i wanted,I wanted a different style, came out this way.Wanted a painting like van gogh, or starkly colored painting, rough, nah, came out this way. ok, wow, takes lots of practice to do this kind of thing, as for style and margins. ect. "white space." well, it was fun, even the depressed need concerts, but, heck, they can't pay for them, depressed people are poor. I should look at some real posters. Old "Jefferson Airplane" ones do not count.Old 60's do not count. They were all wierd lettering, which I like.(this is fun!)But,they were unreadble! But groovey.

love it -- wonderful understanding of energy in the human body
nobuddy1997 (Aug 24, 2011)
why is it so hard to draw a vagina on every nude photo... im not a pervet, i just looks more realistic that way
Teapot (Aug 24, 2011)
Vaginae are not visible without an instrument that enables internal examination. I think you mean a vulva, or pudendum, the external female genitalia.
Flubbles (Aug 24, 2011)
Thats exactly what I was going to say. |
