thank you derrick, trying, but I'm having a hard time understanding layering. I'm used to basic paint programs, still, I understand a little more than when I first joined two years ago... and ola to you, hope to do more.

Layers are a little confusing at first, but trust me, you'll get used to them soon. :)

Some people have different colored eyes. My friend, for example, has one brown/green eye and one blue eye.

made some changes, fixed the skin, darekened and redid some of the hair, tried to make the eye look spiffy...

i still think i need much more help. but i got many good tips from a really good artist,

very nice glass n_n the only thing i can comment on is the angle of the chess board in the bg... the boxes that are closest to us would be larger and as they get farther away they would get smaller.
