How does it look so far I am not agreeing with the background that's definitely going to change. The shading is also a bit awkward but it's the best I can do really.

Draw your subject on a transparent layer, no white background. Then add another layer under it to draw your background. I hope this helps. I'm not the best at explaining. I like the tiny clouds(:
