A couple of suggestions: Her arms are large and her body is small, so you might want to work around her proportions a bit.
Definetly try out the Oekaki Shi-Painter!
And when you are drawing lines, you can make them smoother by checking the Anti-Alias box in Lascaux or by using the pen tool in Oekaki Shi-Painter.
And use layers! They should be pretty self explanatory. :P

You should probably practice on the beginner board to refine your skills a little before you try the intermediate board.
Once you draw a couple there then you can post little something somethings on here.

Autumn Colours and Scribbly Gum

Inspired by the autumn colours around now and scribbly gums.
The scribbles are made by small insects burrowing in the bark of these gum trees.

I've seen trees with those kinds of things on them. Great idea to do this.. it looks like a signature!

This is my second try at this paint stuff, and I wanted to do something weird. Yeah. An old woman caught inspiration in my mind and I drew it. I guess I wanted to do something like this...since my grandparents are visiting. Came out quite nice. The skin isn't great...but I do love the hair!! :)
