glass Twilight

This picture is an experimentation of making 'glass characters'. I was trying to make it look like Twilight Sparkle from My little pony friendship is magic, and make it look like glass. It was extremely hard to make it look even remotely like glass, and i am pretty sure that if i keep practicing it will eventually look right.
Twilight's back legs and tail are on the left side of the figurine, and her front legs are on the right side. (it is hard to tell)

I am not very happy with the background for this picture, but, considering it is my first time doing a background.... i think it is exceptional.
this is my first time using chibi paint,
I just switched from using gimp, and i think that the overall picture and colors are much smoother.
ummmm..... yeah...
