I thought I'd try some thing new. I drew this because one of the teachers and one of my more favorite teachers has died on Friday June 9, 2006. I really didn't feel like doing anything but I just needed to this for him. I really, really love for you all to show some love for him. He's Mr. Shelton Sistrunk. I will miss you......Please comment......

I think it's a pretty good start, particularly since I have no luck whatever on faces. The nose looks a bit too wide? I can't help you with Shi-Painter.. don't know how to use that.

I couldn't say Bunny without a ref to look at. There are better people here who are experts at realism portraits so I have no right to say. I do have to say though, and this is eerie, it looks a little like me <8O

The lineart is wonderful. Xiau said it best, the tablet (pen) takes some getting used to. The way it feels as opposed to a real pen or brush and if it's wireless you have to contend with the weight of the battery and having to stay within the reach of the tablet but after you get used to it you'll wonder how you did anything with a mouse. Hope to see this painted soon.

Tan, I am getting seriously jealous, from someone who was afraid to use too much color and didn't think she could do the realistic stuff you are growing leaps and bounds in your art. Must stop you by using my amazing mental powers and make you.... ahhh, to hell with it, I'll admire and smile and if you make a mistake I'll be there to catch you. XD.

thanks yall and i cant seem to bring myself to hit anything other than beginners maybe ill try next time :)
