Orin, the counterpart to Aurin. She seems a tad obsessed with dark red lipstick, which contrasts with her pale skin and silvery hair.When I finish I'll shade and such. Just a bit tired to work, that's all. Oh, btw, she's blind. Explains the lack of shininess in the eyes. |

All the artists I admire online use PaintBBS for their oekaki, so I figured I'd give it a try.The first time I tried to use it, it froze. The second time my PC crashed. This is the third time, and I am unimpressed with the features. Lascaux is much better, I think! And what's with only two layers? Evil! EVIL I TELL YOU! Oddly enough, however, I found the sketch part better. Not sure if that's the smaller size or something in the applet. Anyway, this was just playing with the tools. Didn't go through everything because I decided pretty early on that I dislike the applet. ...If only I could color inside the lines! TT_TT

Yes BBS isn't as great as I learned myself and it even has a warning (user beware sort of thing) Lady do stick with Lascaux, out of all the appelets out there it's become my favorite (got to love the blending tool) Still you did a good job with this. If your comfortable to use bbs then do so by all means, but I'd stick to Scow and Shi. Hope you had a good New Year. |

it looks amazing...i love the way you drew the hair, the shine and shadow are perfect. your face is well porportioned--knows it isn't spelled right and doesn't care--your lips are well colored, not too bright, not too dark. the ONLY thing i'd work on was noses...but who likes drawing noses? >.<why is this on beginner board anyways...belongs on intermediate in my opinion... |
