I was just trying somethin new with the hair. I thought that turned out ok :D

i envy your ability to make everything seem so geometrical yet organic.
the colors you use always unexpectedly meld deliciously and the "edges" seem so sharp.
very very very nice.
you should do a series based on songs and song titels you listen to while doing the peice.

wanted to go and practice drawing with lines and coloring instead of building shapes out of colors

aye, i try drawing bold lines and erasing thin but that often leaves them either fuzzy or wiggley.

look closely at arms and legs, the shape of the outline. it's far from being straight (but i didn't see that anime, so i don't know how it looks there). i think the nose and eyes are placed a bit high on the face. you could also put more shading (a few halftones and a fair difference between the darker and the lighter version of the same colour would bring depth to the picture, just like it did in your rose and Audrey drawings). i like the way of maaking the skirt pleated (or are they waves?) with only shading. keep up the good work:)
