Well started as a simple stress relief doodle :P

Well after reading those lovely comments I notice that nobody knows about Hurricane Polymar :O so decided to go around and look for some info about him :D
Who's Hurricane Polymar??? well my friends enjoy :D

Well at the end decided to put it a stop to this drawing :P, got tired of trying to find a good background to fit with it but fail in all the attempts, so decided to give a simple one :D
Maybe one day I'll came back on this one and maybe I will have a good background image for him :)

Safety save. Got an appt. here soon and wanted to have this somewhat saved :) Saw it in a birds and bloom magazine and couldn't get it out of my head. I LOVE the colors. I did turn the birds head some so far from what the origional looked like and thinking of adding something else in a corner :)

Me, too. This has so much going on for it. I really like the background light and the stark contrast between it and the dark tones in the foreground. I love her shoulder.

This work speaks to something inside of me. There is something craving/possessed, almost sexual with the way the mouth is parted and the hand clawing against the side of the face. I really like the way the hand is done!

It is a powerful piece. I find it disturbing but I'm still not sure why. I agree that there seems to be something sexual about it. I think it's the blindfold and the title that give me that impression. I go back and forth between seeing the hand and the 'red' (blood? raspberry jelly?) as sensual/savoring to seeing it as clawing/fear/insanity. Then I think...is it about a person who is refusing to see something base (violence? greed?) or unwanted in their own nature? Regardless, it's great to be able to produce a piece that draws the viewer in and invites them to give the image an interpretation. Congrats.
