This work speaks to something inside of me. There is something craving/possessed, almost sexual with the way the mouth is parted and the hand clawing against the side of the face. I really like the way the hand is done!

It is a powerful piece. I find it disturbing but I'm still not sure why. I agree that there seems to be something sexual about it. I think it's the blindfold and the title that give me that impression. I go back and forth between seeing the hand and the 'red' (blood? raspberry jelly?) as sensual/savoring to seeing it as clawing/fear/insanity. Then I think...is it about a person who is refusing to see something base (violence? greed?) or unwanted in their own nature? Regardless, it's great to be able to produce a piece that draws the viewer in and invites them to give the image an interpretation. Congrats.

Lovely. I'm looking at the sky after reading your question re brightness. The only thing about it that strikes me is the center of the meadow is quite brightly lit so the sky seems dark in that regard. The tones in version 5 seem to work well together. But, having said that, I really like the way you did the sky, like the sun is trying to break through overcast. The colours in this are what it looks like around here...autumn. Good luck learning Lascaux. I still haven't made friends with it after 6 years.

lori- It'd be nice to paint it on a canvas, but it's not something I'd like to see on a wall.. I prefer abstracts for that.Teapot- I like the old feeling the redness gave it, but I realize that I've lost many of the colors from the 5th ver.. and I like Lascaux, but I don't know its tools like sharp/blur/scatter/dodge/burn etc.

Beautiful piece, really skillful. I love the subdued colors of it, and its atmosphere, so lovely...I wouldn't mind this piece on my wall, haha. |

Another lovely sketch. You seem to choose portraits that are like um..."in the moment". Gives it an impromptu, but interesting aspect. :) |

this is cool with the blue light in the eyes... safety save. Todays Characters are a bird and a squirrel who share a tree. The bird is a laid back slow type...squirrel not so much LOL He's a bit crazy :)

This one is sort of a string of fairy/sprite folk I am kind of playing with using the thought of "how would they camouflage?" In this case I envision them using crests (like an cockatoos) with flower petal looking "feathers" in a way. ATM I am very very tired. Spent pretty much all day on my feet and ready to go zonk out a bit.
