Fairly warm but wet day here in Scotland today...don’t think I’ve ever attempted to draw droplets before ..obviously need more practice

I didn't know you're in Scotland, Rosemary! Such a beautiful place! And if this is your FIRST try doing droplets then I say keep on drawin those droplets! Not because you need the practice, but because you're so very good at it!!!!!!! |

Love the glow. Using any blend modes here or just opaque colors?

@marcello A tiny bit of messing with blend modes. But the glow comes primarily from applying Unsharp Mask with a larger radius, and playing a bit with Curves.

I dunno how you do something like that in 2. It appears to have limited color choices etc... there must be hidden tools I'm not aware of...

@dave: Paint with low opacity. That way you can mix new colors directly on the canvas. E.g. a yellow brushstroke on top of a red one to create orange.@itchy: really cool!

Same as Dave!! Maybe you know me and crystals(?) but incase you don't, we go way back in the drawing world.....anywho, version 2 is just breathtaking to me!! The clear and defined highlights and light reflections with those beautiful lavender, violets and purples give me goosebumps!! Just fabulous!
