Wow! This is a really great draw.....I love how you did all the detail....especially all those little stones.....and I like the colors. I think the mermaid is a little bit chubby, but I guess she is supposed to look that way. Awesome pic! :)

Yeah.....you're right.....this mermaid does look like a real person.....I'm not used to seeing that. All the mermaid pics that I've ever seen show "mystical fantasy looking" creatures....but this one really does look real....especially her fin....that looks like a real fishtail on her......and her "pouchy" midsection does make her look like a real person.....most women don't have a flat tummy. I also like her hair.....great draw!! :)

I hope you will finish this draw.....I think Adam is an awesome singer. With a little more work....I bet you'll be able to get him looking more like the "ref" pic that you are using. My sister loves Adam.....she just recently bought his new cd....it's called "For Your Entertainment". I listened to it, and I think it sounds pretty good. My fave songs that I've heard him sing are "Mad World" and "Ring of Fire". Soooo....plz try to finish this one..ok?? :)

Futon frolic.
I tried refining the hatch shading a bit. Probably won't do much more with this. It was an exercise in trying to remember how to draw after not doing anything for a long time. I'm sure I shouldn't try a complicated pose without a ref--lotsa stuff off. Feels weird when you can't even manage to get your tablet angled correctly to draw diagonal lines. My drawing hand is retarded. At least I'm hoping it's my hand and not my brain. :-O
