no, they're all monsters from japanese folklore. Well, the giraffe is a kirin, which is described as a "chinese giraffe" because the origins of that mythical monster were chinese artists that heard descriptions of giraffes and tried drawing them without ever seeing one, but I decided to just draw a giraffe. |
