Those metal textures.....lovely!!
dorothyblueeyes (edited Mar 19, 2011)
that is wonderful, great. Sheesh.,looks like a science fiction magazine cover. I love that movie, saw it long time ago. I think "The shape of things to come."I think it has some famous old actors in, like Raymond Massey, ect. It was trying to show our world, civilization, had atomic war(I think)and became destroyed, primative. But some people saved a few airplanes, and decided to go forward with technology, and in the future, mankind finally went (almost) to the moon. It was trying to show, there was a good future, after atomic disaster, and man would go to the stars. I love that movie, great picture. YOU did good. Beautiful style, technique. "Showcase!"

Thanks for your comments! I do love shiny metal.
ChalkDust: the first one was already pretty close to what I wanted, so it was easy sailing from that point.
Dorothy: yes, that's the one!

Thanks ;) I don't take him seriously either...though sometimes I know he is... this time he may be.. heh ..or my drawings, except for the collabs I have done. Otherwise I just try.

Anyhow, to make you doubt your womanhood must have been quite serious, indeed. Hope it all works out. :)
backmagicwoman (Mar 15, 2011)
well we can only hope that he doesn't base a woman's worth on how well she can swab his poopshoot..cause that would just be sad...;)

Been a looong time since I've oekaki'd with any "seriousness". Several years.... It was fun. ^^ Time is a bit off since I partially worked on this while at work over the last several days and with minimizing and all...

Ref'ed from this beautiful photograph - http://www.flickr.com/photos/ajbrustein/3939139501/

My version looks like it just rained. Pretty moody. Haha.

P.S. Thank you for The one hundred thousand dollars you donated to the U.S. after 9/11. Really helped. It reminds me of the time I tipped my waiter a quarter to insult him.

apparently there were these guys called Lehnert & Landrock that took a lot of photos of people in north africa in the early 1900s, so I might do a few of these.
