Yeah, I have to agree with kenshin, they should be a little higher. This drawing seems to have a fragile touch to it but the jagged lines sort of takes that quality away. Perhaps Oekaki shi? They have softer lines.

This is pretty cool actually. I like looking at the transition of the cheek textures to the hair. I get some strange comfort in viewing that. It's always fun just starting a piece having no idea what you're gonna draw and you add on little things that you think will help the piece out, and then view the outcome. It's like a surprise to yourself :).
