I think it's a good start. I don't know how to help except to say there are links to lots of tutorials in the forums that talk about drawing faces, hair etc...have you looked at those?

It is a very good start! I would only say more shadows on the face and head, and soften out the lines if you want realism. There aren't many definite lines in a face or shirt, more of shadows. You have the right idea though!

I heard from an artist I admired once that bald people are the hardest to draw. I find them more fun, personally. Kudos.

You my new friend get a tip of the hat towards the scary/creepy genre, and believe me i know what creepy is.

It looks zombieish, but at the same time i wouldnt doubt that that head could very well explode exposing some demon or alien monster inhabiting the body.

This is Leah, from the comic I'm making..She's a 17 year old girl (not an ordinary girl..she's half angel) on a journey to avenge the death of her mother. Her mother was the angel of fire, killed by an evil king. Leah is traveling with her teammates, Yucca, Zoey, Yami, Spike and Strike, Rae, Antonio, Charlotte And Travis. They're all traveling with her for they're own reasons, but I'll explane that when I draw the rest of them.

hehe thanks poppa :) that's exactly what he does when I give him a papertowel to play with or he gets my sunglasses. and he goes "WHOOOOO!!!" he gets very excited very easily!

My friend also has a hawkshead parrot, and he follows us around her house by foot ( why he doesn't just fly, I don't now). If we walk too slow, he catches up and pinches our ankles.

Hehe, I agree with DBA about the conccept. I think it's creative :). I especially like that lil puddle of water that the guy is standing in though. You really captured that 'wet' look there and I love looking at it. The butterflies are wishing they were as cool as him ;).
