2draw.net - browse - Intermediate

My first attempt at 'realism' ever. (This is my 8th Oekaki post ever, so be gentle, please!) Used a photo of myself as a reference- http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j320/eevildeeva/evil.jpg.
I had REAL problems with the hair on this one- I'm open to tips, tricks and/or suggestions....thanx.

Thanx Marcello for extra space and DBA for advice!!! (I have OCD- not being able to finish this would've driven me absolutely crazy!!!)

I don't spent too much time in the mirror most of the time- I never realized how quickly I'd get sick of looking at myself. =P

It takes a lot less time for me to put on my "war paint" in the mirror than it does to paint myself here... I feel your pain there. I like how this turned out... if you're new at this type of art, I'm sure that within a short amount of time we'll be amazed by you.

Put it in Beginner, I needed the space.

I hate it when I'm searching for good fanfics or fanart and a majority of what I find are Mary-Sues and self-insertions; Sora has a long-lost little sister who was found and taken in by the darkness blahblah, she's evil, blah blah, has to fight her brother, but doesn't know who he is and it causes her to angst about it later, blahblah.

And then the story no longer focuses on the characters from the game (Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc), but rather begins revolving around the OC itself. There may be ONE paragraph in in a chapter which the canon characters are mentioned.

Makes me mad. D:<

Very cool! I really like the chin, jaw, and lips of the guy. The effect you have with the whole...striped shiny stuff is really neat. It reminds me of wheat. Woa..that rhymed :/
