So agree on the background. If you took the girl out it'd be a nice landscape I'd hang on my wall. Reminiscent of impressionist watercolors.

My eyes was in pain when I started with this, because it was
like 3d with very bright colors on black background.

I saw a fish in google, but I added some stuff I wanted it to have and changed some. :)

A Horse from memory...

I was going to post this to the beginner board- but not sure- please move if you want... this was done from memory- I used to always draw horses when I was a child... it may not be anatomically correct....

Wow, this was from memory? Awesome! I couldn't do this even with a ref...
I'm not exactly an expert on horses, but I'd say this looks pretty correct. The only fault I can see is that the rear looks a bit square.

this is excellent! Especially for something from memory
the anatomy is basically correct though he does look a bit extra lumpy, but maybe that's just me?
Dedinatly imtermediate work in my opinion!

well...some people, not mentioning any names COUGH--like "the chosen"--COUGH oops...well anyways... j/k jen...mostly my parents think that this is a bad piece bc they say there is too much of "jeff" showing...well, that's not what i was trying to portray here...it's just that i had to fit the heart in there too. that is to show that what was once old and broken, is being made anew...don't take this the wrong way ppl...it's a pic dedicated to the one i love the most and the one who i cannot live without...
