Well anyways, I'm not perfect. I didn't look at the picture, I don't really remember now but now that I see the picture it's much better than mine, ok so sorry. You can stop talking about it, please.

I'm sitting in a corner crying cause that's just FUCKING AMAZING. THANKS FOR THE TIPS THOUGH! on my art and stuff.. no one really chats with me on this thing. So I'm actually really glade when some one gives me helpful advice.

Similar style as my last piece but not nearly as loose. This technique seems to be more effective when I'm really sleep deprived but it was still fun to draw.

Nice flowy and greeny and wispy and yeah. =)
Sweetcell (Jun 5, 2007)
It reminds me of something. A children's special long ago, there was a tree or creature that looked like this. I dunno. It's wicked though.
davincipoppalag (Jun 5, 2007)
Fun-ness...it's all flowy and graceful...and looks relaxing to do
Punky (Jun 6, 2007)
I really like this wispy style. I love the hands on this creature.
I have weeds like this in my yard.

It's Mucha meets Picasso in pop art style. This is really amazing Solve, so different from you.
I want this as a shirt!
davincipoppalag (Jun 5, 2007)
Peter Maxx would love you...I'm sure I saw this on a shirt back in the day
PS (Jun 6, 2007)

YAYS! T_T i'm sooo happy i'm crying people are actually liking it..i have some really other amazing work but now one comments on them so i wanted to post here. Hopefully you guys could check out some of my other work!
Punky (Jun 5, 2007)
Personally, I don't think this is intermediate (not that I think it's bad, just it would be better on the beginner's board). :)

Although, Gir is pretty cool, even though Invader Zim is a tad overrated.
Sweetcell (Jun 5, 2007)
You drew my Gir, :DDDDDDD, but he's too green. I always shade him on the yellow side.

If you thinned out the black lines using soft erasure on med low opacity, especially around his eyes because the eyes don't have that thick of an outline, tone down the green (really really green here) and put a better background this would better suit Intermediate. Oh, one other thing, his left eye is too small in comparison to his right. Make the left eye larger (matching the right) It's a bit disporportionate at the moment.

For drawing my Gir I hug you. ((((fox))))
psychofox0 (Jun 5, 2007)
Hey you. X3. It looks really good. you made him so huggable. you make me want to draw gir. ^,..,^ nice jobs.

It kind of looks like an indian rock painting coming alive, very nice work.
Dr.Moony (Jun 5, 2007)
Playing with shapes is the best way to clear my head too. The thin lines add a lot of interesting structure to this painting which looks even better than I thought judging by it's thumbnail....Great job!
solve (Jun 5, 2007)
Wow you have some crazy textures going on in here. From the smoke, wispy thick lines, thin scratchy lines. Oh, and the colors. Great work!
Roytje (Jun 5, 2007)
Thanks alot! I didn't expect so much comments on this one :)

I look at this and think of a Pheonix rising from the flames. I know it's cliche but I can actually see it in the streams of flames. I just love how you make your paint strokes look thick and substantial. Did that make sense? :)
HunterKiller_ (Jun 5, 2007)
I like solve's interpretation. Intense rolling hot oil. =)
two-na (Jun 6, 2007)
perfect. lots going on, and still very nice
good, this, kloxboy
patienceisoverrated (Jun 6, 2007)
mmm i love the flow and movement. when i was little(er) I used to spend hours dropping food colouring in water and watching the patterns of the die swirling around. this reminds me of that.

Please don't take the things on this board as my normal act of work. I'm still getting used to the applets. Sorry for spamming this board, but I do need somewhere to draw every day.

Thank you. ^_^;

I like it, the marriage between the blues and the browns is great. Your handwriting is nice, assuming it is your handwriting because of the natural irragularity of the letters, making it human instead of a font.
Sweetcell (Jun 5, 2007)
How pretty, the hair looks like you used pencil crayons and the face and shawl marker pens. Is that your prose or someone elses?
clover_pocky (Jun 7, 2007)
It's not mine, it's a song called, "How soon is now." though I do write. :) I just like the lyrics.

My handwriting is the result of years of practice. >_< Cursive italics. Grah. But thank you. ^_^

enjoydotcom (Jun 5, 2007)
How in earth are you able to make such gorgeous color flows?
Sweetcell (Jun 5, 2007)
It's like an alien fish. I'm with Joy, I think the only way we'll know is if you do a tutorial like I did.
Tutorial Donna, I wanna do flowy, oily rainbow pictures.

Btw, I really like V3, really has an alien landscape look to it.

thanks! so glad you like this one!
