Happy Thanksgiving, Dave! Very nice painting there! It really looks like a painting but I can't decide on what medium. Sorta watercolory or acrylic like, maybe dry pastels??? Hummmmmm

I liked her eyes. Photo ref.
enjoydotcom (Feb 8, 2008)
Gorgeous eyes, brown/black eyes are seriously underrated in photography if you ask me. You mostly see greenish blue eyes.
Axil62 (Feb 8, 2008)
Your day breaks, your mind aches You find that all the words of kindness linger on When she no longer needs you She wakes up, she makes up She takes her time and doesn't feel she has to hurry She no longer needs you And in her eyes you see nothing No sign of love behind the tears Cried for no one A love that should have lasted years! You want her, you need her And yet you don't believe her when she said her love is dead You think she needs you And in her eyes you see nothing No sign of love behind the tears Cried for no one A love that should have lasted years! You stay home, she goes out She says that long ago she knew someone but now he's gone She doesn't need him Your day breaks, your mind aches There will be time when all the things she said will fil your head you won't forget her And in her eyes you see nothing No sign of love behind the tears Cried for no one A love that should have lasted years! davincipoppalag (Feb 6, 2008)
This one is cool as hell
Sweetcell (Feb 6, 2008)
This looks like an icon you'd see on a staff or a wall, the icon of some evil godlike being that could only be brought to this unsuspecting world through some vile ritual or ceremony involving blood and sacrifice. How you been Jem?
somebody (Feb 8, 2008)
OK is it just me or is there some serious cleavage going on here. Nothin like spooky boobs to get you going. hehe
Kloxboy (Feb 8, 2008)
somebody: Yep, those are breasts. |

I'm calling this a "painting cure" piece, as related to "the talking cure" or " talking treatment" used in Freudian psychology and psychoanalysis. "Painting cure" would be a subcategory of the general term "art cure". Similar ideas and methods already exist in art therapy but there are very few unique terms associated with the psychology of art. I think "painting cure" could be such a term.

Paint two and call me in the morning
lori (Jan 24, 2008)
so do you feel better now? I do. I like these ones when you use the reddish orange and the bone colors together, along with the angles you use. This one's cool with the sharp angles yet curves too
solve (Feb 7, 2008)
excellent shape and angle. You never cease to put out works that pleasing to the eye. |

Those are easily spooked and very elusive. Hunters use crotch spaniels to flush them out |
