my hands are not better, I have a rare disorder called myasthenia for which there is no cure but I begin IV infusion treatments tomorrow and hopefully it will decrease the symptoms. I was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery then came down with this. My hope is to be able to walk again

I'm sorry to hear that, it looked like you had a better grisp here.. And only if you don't mind me asking- are the carpal-tunnel surgery and your inability to walk related to the myasthenia gravis? And for how long do you have it?

carpal tunnel and myasthenia are unrelated, I was diagnosed in october of last year but have probably been coming down with it for several years, I have not walked for 2 years and have trouble breathing when I lay down and my arms get weak and shake when I try to draw. |

I'll paint something with acrylics next week. This here will be a collection of studies(color, textures, light) before I start the real thing(and fail due to my inability to mix real colors properly).The proportions here are a bit different from my pencil sketch....

Yo regular acrylics. It's 1x1mJust took about one and an half hour to paint so I could mix a lot of stuff on the canvas, and not on the palette(=hell)

I had thought about straightening the horizon, but I think that's part of the charm of the original photo. My screen is badly in need of recalibrating because I can't see the subtle changes in color at all when I'm blending but they're very obvious on my other screen. I'm using the eyedropper in photoshop on the original photo to find the rgb numbers, because this kind of sky with color shifts is always a mystery to me. This is also the first time I've ever used the rgb color chooser in lascaux, which I just recently discovered. I was suppose to do 4 drawings today, but I won't even finish this one because I was testing something that wasn't working out.original- link

I'm just trying to do one landscape and one portrait a day just to do it, but I got behind last week from a couple of days where most of my free time was taken up by other things and I never fully caught up. |
