Are you using mostly the watercolor tool? These are truly wonderful. They're making me want to start drawing again.

I hope you do start drawing again :) No I'm using the pen tool mostly, on very very low opacity. When I first joined the watercolor tool on Oekaki was my favorite tool ever.. but it's been awhile since I've used it, I'm not as good with it anymore so nowadays I just stick to the pen tool, although there are still effects I don't know how to acheive with it.. |

Great capture of her expression and the colors are perfect (orange/blue compliments). Dan did one from this photo awhile back, I think.

It did, I might attempt a portrait another day. But my drawing skills have deteriorated somewhat in my absence, been messing around doing a landscape the past few days...but I'm not that chuffed with it so far.

Squint your eyes when comparing it with the ref. That makes mistakes more obvious...and easier to fix.
