The painting is just awesome! The colors are not too rough and not too smooth, almost like wood.
I don't really visualize the body but I get the sense of "heat" just surrounding it. :D

Mee-Ran-Da

Me-Ran-Da is the captain of the Red Soldiers. Although she shows a tough exterior, she is troubled by years of ongoing sexual/physical abuse of her father, who established the Red Soldiers. Normally, she is wearing a red bandana around her neck, with darker red dots on it. She uses cheese graters with katana blades on them as weapons,

Fun piece, the thumb reminded me of Bush. But the bigger fishion (pun intended) reminds me of that guy from "3rd rock from the sun". The one with the squinty eyes.

That'd be Harry, Joy, the communications officer who came with them because they had room for one more on their ship (how sad am I to know that?) And he does kinda.
I like how the skin looks repitilian, as well as the eyes.

For some reason, this reminds me of one of those paintings, with black background, made out of some type of material, maybe cloth. You know which ones I am talking about?
