(Wait, am I supposed to be depressed about this?... SORRY! :D) ... final grad ceremony is in one week and then off to ... (well, she's going to the beach first, of course, she is MINE ;)... and then off to college) http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/deadlyblondearcher/album?.dir=723fre2&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos

I know this is boring to most people, but I can't help it, I'm proud of her... I'll be posting more boring pictures from graduation next week. Ya'll just gotta forgive me. :)

You have a right to be proud. You're a mom. She's beautiful. Post away!

DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 22, 2006)
I knooooowwww she's pretty. She's smart and sweet and compassionate and talented, too. (doesn't have anything to do with her being MINE, of course. :)

davincipoppalag (May 22, 2006)
Hehe..yes it does...everything, in fact
  icon
mm4833 (May 23, 2006)
wow, shes all grown up, hope you had a nice day and you should be proud :D
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 23, 2006)
yes, and she grew up too quickly. I thought I was being really strong because I didn't cry at the ceremony, but after we got home and the grads went partying and my husband fell asleep... I started bawling like a baby. But I cried when I moved her from the bassinet to the crib, when she went to kindergarten, when she drove off alone for the first time.... booohooo. :(

On the other hand, FREEDOM for me is just around the corner!

(and thank you both :)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 23, 2006)
they do, and they'll go faster and faster. Time marches on... take all the time you can to play with her. Let your house be messy sometimes, don't worry about it, don't be too tired to read a book to her at night... make time for that, you can't go back. That is ONE thing I did right in my life, I made time, I played with them, they were first. It doesn't last long, enjoy it. :)

mm4833 (May 23, 2006)
our house is always messy lol, we got tiny bits of paper from when she was cutting yesterday all over the floor loland yeah she likes her stories and playing with mommy, she always has a story before bed, usually a disney one, and she likes being creative, painting, drawing, glueing, playdoh, things like that, oh and she thinks polishing is a treat lol.

sincity (May 23, 2006)
dig it all while you can. Then just live. That's all there is to do. Can't take anything but the memory with you. And that is all there is. :}

Sweetcell (May 23, 2006)
They look like well headed kids Cindy, be proud as get out. And your son's quite the looker if you don't mind me saying.
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 23, 2006)
hah... Richard's not really mine, I "adopted" him a long time ago, and he is as sweet and smart as he is cute. :)
(my son graduated from high school a few years ago... I should post his grad pic here somewhere)
  icon
Deino (May 23, 2006)
Well, congratulations to her for the graduation, and congratulartions to you for being a great mother Deadly! x)
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 23, 2006)
thank you... :) I added my son, Blake's grad portrait to the album http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/deadlyblondearcher/detail?.dir=/723fre2&.dnm=c279re2.jpg&.src=ph and Lauren's actual grad portrait is the previous pic in the album (I feel silly doing this, like those people that flip their wallet out with a fold out of a hundred pictures and insist on showing you all of them... or those people that make you watch their stupid boring home videos, but like I said, this time I can't help it. :)

davincipoppalag (May 23, 2006)
Now you know why they do it ! Good lookin kid
  icon
SanzoGirl (May 23, 2006)
Aww, your daughter looks just like you. :]
She's so pretty.
Hah, I guess I know how you feel... my brother's graduating High School this year(Haha, post pictures! http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y300/XX_Hiru_xX/danielsmaller.jpg), and my mom keeps going around showing people this picture of us: http://myspace-975.vo.llnwd.net/00763/57/91/763361975_l.png
But, it's a mom thing. I'll understand a bit more when I have kids of my own. ^_^;
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 23, 2006)
:)... really, she looks alot like her Daddy, too... but thanks. You and your brother are cute as lil' buttons, I can see why she's so proud. Being a mother is really the most satisfying thing I've ever done. I wouldn't change anything.
  icon
SanzoGirl (edited May 23, 2006)
Aw. :]
Now I can't wait till I get married and have kids. x3
I really respect my mom, and I regret things I've done to make it hard for her. :[
I hope your kids respect you the way I respect my mom, cause being a mom can't be all easy, it must be hard, but filled with love.
You have a lot to be proud of.
Post as many things you want of them, and be the proud mother we all know you are. :D
  icon
Noremac (May 23, 2006)
my kids are gunna be weird as hell.
on that note i should probobly kill myself before they come into existance
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 23, 2006)
I predict you'll marry and have children just so you can watch your wife breast feed them. HAH!

sanzo: thanks, honey, and from what I can tell you'll make a great mother if you decide to have children
and no, mine are rebellious and as disrespectful as they can be :) (until I crack the whip, which I do)
  icon
davincipoppalag (May 23, 2006)
LMAO>>>Cindy...I'm sure you're right about Cam! heheh
  icon
kristine (May 24, 2006)
You have a very beautiful daughter, Cindy. You should be proud :). I cant wait until i get married and have children of my own. This makes me look forward to all the times where i can take pictures of them and laugh with them and hug them and know that theyre actually my children and no one elses. :D
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 24, 2006)
Thank you so much... I believe so, and she is even more beautiful on the inside. You can wait! Take your time! Laughing and hugging are really a couple of the most important things... you'll do fine. :)

Maiko (May 24, 2006)
aww :3
haha, my mom said to me that "no matter how old you get, you'll always be my baby"
grats to her graduating X3
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 24, 2006)
This is true... they will always be my babies. I'm a little bit sad, but mostly, I just feel like WOOOHOOOO, the rest of my life is summer vacation! :D (I can't follow her to the beach after graduation, she'd think I was "watching" her... but as soon as she gets back I'm high-tailin' it there and I might not ever come back)
  icon
mm4833 (May 24, 2006)
all moms say that :D, its instinct i think, a bond that doesnt break easily. having kids is one of the best things in the world i think but boy is it the hardest job ever but so well worth it. and DBA enjoy the peace and quiet cuz sure enough she will be back before you know it ;)
  icon
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 24, 2006)
I'm cutting the cord... Vaya Con Dios, Baby... (just kidding :) See, what will happen, is... she'll follow ME and watch ME, if I don't come back.

DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 27, 2006)
thanks, dave :) I guess it hit me a little harder than I thought it would. (a lot harder, actually) When Lauren was in kindergarten, she had this wonderful, pretty, sweet teacher, who had a daughter of her own in kindergarten at the time. There was a horrible accident where her husband backed over the little girl with his truck in their driveway and killed her. It was devastating, and especially hard for the children to cope with. She stopped teaching here, but kept in touch with us and the children, wrote to each child. Years later she told me that she watched them grow and imagined what her own daughter would be like at certain ages by keeping up with Lauren's class. Last night she and her husband were there, they had saved money all these years to give the kids scholarships in their daughter's name, and when she made her speech I totally came unglued. I'm still trying not to be weepy about it. Those of us that don't have to endure losing a child should be thankful every day just for that.
