Purty bloo eyes and tear...she crying because she can't find her wig?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 28, 2006)
no, she was a bad mannequin so they put her in the corner and she doesn't get a wig or any clothes, either.
JoeNobody (Jan 28, 2006)
was she the one wearing the "Weapons", is that why she was bad? Very nice looking mannequin here, well done.
hideyourface (edited Jan 29, 2006)
her eyes aren't really in line, the one on the left is bigger, her mouth isn't pointing in the same direction as the rest of the face, and the neck should be straighter. The hair in the eyebrows looks nice, and the skin is really smooth.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 29, 2006)
"RALLY", now? *swat*
hideyourface (Jan 29, 2006)
making fun of typos is mature.
SYTHE (Jan 30, 2006)
Hey DBA, have you ever watched the show 'Nip Tuck', this pic reminds me of the beginning of the show. Hey HYF, play nice. :)
hideyourface (Jan 30, 2006)
I DID NOTHING. ALL I DO IS GIVE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM.
SYTHE (Jan 30, 2006)
Hey HYF, did you see the smiley face at the end it means I was joking, didn't mean anything by it. >:D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 30, 2006)
yes, seen parts of Nip Tuck... scary as hell. Hey, SYTHE, ignore him, maybe he'll just go away.
SYTHE (Jan 31, 2006)
Him who? *wink, wink* :)
Miss_DJ (Feb 4, 2006)
Put that fly swatter down...I have a no-pest strip I can lend you. lol....very nice work again Cindy!
Zack (Feb 4, 2006)
It's bad enough when the little kids here act bratty in response to constructive criticism. To see adults behave the same way is just shameful. I actually agree with all of Hide's crits.
Miss_DJ (Feb 5, 2006)
I don't think criticism is wrong. But some people make a point of making it constantly. They're the ones playing silly games. There's a big difference between making a constructive statement or two and being a thorn in someone's side.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 16, 2006)
Zack... I agree with some of his crits, but for the most part I find them inaccurate and just of a "poking" nature, not of a helpful nature which the artist could use for improvement. I am surprised you say you agree with all of them. Have you reviewed each painting that he has "critiqued"?
Zack (Feb 17, 2006)
I was referring to all of his crits in regard to this picture. I don't always agree with his crits, but on this picture I do.

If you don't like what someone is saying, either confront them about it (preferably in private) or ignore it.

Are you telling me that when I disagree with someone here I am not allowed to say so publicly, that I have to memo them instead of commenting in response on a drawing? Are you "ordering" me to agree with everything everyone says and if I don't, I have to send a memo? Since when is that a rule here? Does that apply to everyone, or are you singling me out, specifically?

marcello (Feb 17, 2006)
I presume he means that he personally would prefer you did it in private because he'd rather not see it.

Just play nice people. People are allowed to critique. And people are allowed to disagree.

I personally find this picture pretty creepy. Probably because she has no hair.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Feb 17, 2006)
Thanks for that clarification. I don't like the picture at all myself, really, and that's not the point. I try to comply with the rules here, and I haven't broken any that I know of (intentionally, ever), but I WILL disagree when I disagree.
Zack (Feb 17, 2006)
I wasn't referring to rules. I was referring to a sense of common decency.

My favorite perfume is "Indecence" by Givenchy, I wear it every day. Go figure.
