My god. . . the more I look at your work the more inadequate I feel. I just love the colors you use and the smooth blending. This one looks great. As Dav said, the hands are amazing.
It's ones like this that make me step back and take a look at my stuff and feel disappointed in myself, my efforts, my stuff and at the same time feel glad that you can do this so that I can look at it and marvel and hope and try harder. And then I think no, it's OK, I'm not bad, I just have a different style....but still, I'd love to have this one in my arsenal. The hands...that's what it is about this...an the message the title...the "Yes..yes I get this, this feeling or awareness of what's going on here" feeling. I normally don't go on like this but I'd buy this and hang it in my house....no, I wouldn't hang it in my house. But if I saw it for sale somewhere it would be one of those things where you want it...you want it...you look...you want it... you think about it ...you look...you think...you talk yourself out of it and walk away, then later wish you had told the jury in your head to shut the fuck up.
The hands are awesome like everyone says but I really like his face the best; the expression and just the whole of it really gets me. Great, king, as always :)
