Awwwwww. . . I think they're cute. Then again I think all bugs are cute. . . all bugs except roaches for some reason. Go figure.

I'm not sure if only in the US Fin. These come out only every 17 years. Usually you hear them..but only see the empty shells they leave (major ugly) If you want to see one, Tim has two in his freezer (not much to do in NS hehe) thanks everyone

I was going to mention the empty shell they leave behind Davi. They are incredibly noisy. Reminds me of that movie," The beast within" They based that idea on the Cicada. :}

More commonly known as the locust... I like the way they sound. Sorry, Pops, no can do with the .44... would be way overkill for that one... unless it's from one of those science fiction movies where it's like 5 times the size of a large building, then I can shoot it for you. My favorite part of this one is the bark and the shadows.
