well..
I don't understand why all these things are coming to me lately... but it's stuff I've either been through or thought about in the past...
this(although I didn't draw it nearly as realistic as it should be).... was what I saw 4 years ago when I closed my eyes.... looooong story... but to make it short, it was about 3 weeks after I'd been in a semi-coma.
I don't know why I feel like I have to get all this out of me, but I do.

It's called spring cleaning, I think. I hate to say this because it may seem a bit harsh to you at first, but please think on it anyway, even though it seems a bit painful at first. The path to healing for you, honey, is to get off of this road of self-absorption you seem to be on. Focus on the well being of others - of even one person you hold dear, and most of your pain will dissipate. I promise.

I dunno...seems like dreaming of a doorway to heaven would be a reassuring and calming thing, especially if it opens for you in the dream. You did nicely on the light

in other words, Cindy... get your mind off yourself and back on everyone else where it always is? no thanks.... everything happens for a reason, and if this is what's happening now... I'll take it, and I'll learn from it.

Cindy's advice is good.. hope you'll think about it.. 'cause she's right.

Lee, I think about everyone else allll the time, trust me... this is the internet... ya don't see my daily living... this is a time for ME, and I'm gonna take it. I don't think every damned thing I'm doing on here or saying is all about me either. She may be right in some respects, but not right to tell me what to think. I don't feel I need to heal right now anyway... I'm doing ok... if people talked to me more, they might know that

There is nothing wrong with "ME" time, I am constantly thinking of the wellbeing of others and it becomes mentally exhausting at times, especially when no one else seems to be doing it as well. You NEED the "ME" time just to keep yourself from going crazy!!!! It is always good to think of the ones you love and care for them, but who is going to want to take care of you, if you don't care for yourself first? I think that you are both right, you just have to do alot of balancing. :)
spiritdweller (Mar 5, 2005)
yup, balance is the key... balance is my constant struggle... when you have to be yourself, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, etc... etc... etc... I'm not sure where the balance is... all I know is I do what feels right, and when I screw up, well God help me.
