really cool pic dave... nicely done... my fav plane of urs so far...
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Apr 4, 2004)
This is good, the dimensions are great and the colors and everything, but I wasn't sure at first glance if it hadn't already started to crash into the ridge - There doesn't seem to be any depth/distance between the plane and the ridge at all. Is there some way to fix that? I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it's something with the left (pilot's view) wing and propellor.
davincipoppalag (Apr 4, 2004)
nope..one minute later they crashed into the mountain...

dixielandcutie (Apr 4, 2004)
oooooh davinci...after the c-130, the c-47 is my favorite plane. what an accurate draw, oh wow. i love your draws, and love planes, and you do such a great job, and youre awesome! *stares*
LovelyLori (Apr 4, 2004)
isn't he though? GREAT draw.... AGAIN :)
Stubs (Apr 4, 2004)
This is really cool
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 4, 2004)
It's better towards the wing... I think It's something that melds w/ the mountain closer to the propellor, but that propellor is moving, so I think it's fine. It doesn't bother me like it did.

How about now DBA?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 4, 2004)
YEP! That was it! I kept looking at it trying to figure out what you could do, but had no idea. It's perfect now. :D :D :D :D <<<<<<< (happy ppl looking at your picture)
xwindflyer (Apr 4, 2004)
Nice Picture, but the top of the rudder and vertical stabalizer on the C47 was more rounded.
davincipoppalag (Apr 4, 2004)
You're rieght about the stab, if I can get back in there I will fix that. I wasn't paying close attention to that end and I didn't notice how squared off it is.

that should be about right.. I had forgotten the aft radio mast on the stabilizer too
xwindflyer (Apr 5, 2004)
Hey now, that works better. lol
Pandora (Apr 5, 2004)
Are you a pilot? You sure seem to have a full understanding of planes. Amazing art!
Kasha (Apr 5, 2004)

davincipoppalag (Apr 5, 2004)

Wraith (Apr 6, 2004)
Nice... Hey can you draw a C-130 Hercules aircraft? If so, I would sure love to see it :D
davincipoppalag (Apr 6, 2004)
Someone else asked for a Hercules too. I will see.
laurael (Apr 6, 2004)
I really like this one. Awesome pic for sure, but I'm putting in an old request...please do another aerial view...I love those...(is your slate gettin' full now?)
davincipoppalag (Apr 6, 2004)
I'm trying to decide what I want to draw next...
Aubrey (edited Apr 13, 2004)
This is a picture that tells a story without even needing one written really. There's so much action invested in it and yet it's only a snapshot. Very cool and very nice Poppa :)
