I used a reference pic for this, of course I don't have these in my backyard. Umm, as a matter of fact, I jacked this magazine from the lobby of a place in Fort Worth the other day because I saw this picture and I couldn't bear to leave him. :) The photograph is so cute that it made me smile everytime I glanced at it while drawing this, and if I captured even half of his cuteness, you should smile, too.

Aww, dose were pwetty! This one is in the wild... not in captivity. This mag has lots of pictures of them, they have babies, and oh, they are so cute! If they didn't eat people I'd find one and snuggle with it! lol

Oh sure it's great, if you like stuff that's drawn really well... and has all the right tones and the color is dead on... and the perspective is good and the subject is wonderful, yeah if you like that kind of thing I guess it's good. he he. You're so good DBA, this is one of your best.

No, no, no...I would pay for this or 'any' of your pics...awesome artist that you are. You put a lot of work and soul into them and just satisfaction wouldn't cut it...you need more paint and brushes and canvas and...you get the idea...

Wow....!This IS good^^!The face is just perfect.The only thing that bugs me a bit is his foot in the back.Is that a slipper he's wearing?I can't quite make it out><.Well, it's not like that's too important, but yeah, anyways, the rest of it just too cool XD.

Yup, Kasha, most of the good ones I do, when somebody likes them that much. The ones I don't like I usually throw in a big closet. It's full of them. lol @ Gigandas... I thought about that foot, did kinda look like a slipper, even in the photograph. Dunno.. Maybe he's wearing bunny slippers? lol Hi Dino! I get many eels? More than one? Yay!
