If someone were to ever ask me to pick one color to describe myself, it would definitley be Red, hands down.
dorothyblueeyes (Dec 23, 2010)
Nice sketch; yeah, "how did we get here?why?what happened, when we were headed the other direction, but Fate had other plans??" shit. I've known so many people, who said, "Gee, I was trying to go to landscaping business school, but the family got sick, and I had to quit school, and go to work to support my brothers."So, no landscaping, this poor guy is driving a crummy cab. And i did not want to tell him, just about the same thing happened to me,and most of the people I've known.

i really love this piece...simple,but says so so much, that is what art is,the sense of a feeling when you look at the piece.

I still find showcase stuff I haven't seen before. This is wonderful! Such Van Gogh-ish stroke work.

Would you like me to tell you the little story of right-hand/left-hand? The story of good and evil? H-A-T-E! It was with this left hand that old brother Cain struck the blow that laid his brother low. L-O-V-E! You see these fingers, dear hearts? These fingers has veins that run straight to the soul of man. The right hand, friends, the hand of love. Now watch, and I'll show you the story of life. Those fingers, dear hearts, is always a-warring and a-tugging, one agin t'other. Now watch 'em! Old brother left hand, left hand he's a fighting, and it looks like love's a goner. But wait a minute! Hot dog, love's a winning! Yessirree! It's love that's won, and old left hand hate is down for the count!

Ref used, durrr.

He was from here. His house was a block from where dad lived when he was in his teens, now it's a rough part of town. Beautifully done

bette_davis_eyes (Jul 22, 2009)
excellent drawing! that had to take tons of patience to make it so identical to the ref :O
Flubbles (Jul 22, 2009)
It's nowhere near identical, but that doesn't take away from the fact it's a really good attempt! to do something anywhere near identical it would take you days not hours, good drawing though.
